The West Indian-American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) has been the driving force behind the West Indian Carnival Parade, popularly known as the Labor Day Parade. WIADCA was established in 1967, with the main focus of the organization to develop, teach and promote Caribbean arts and culture in the New York Metropolitan Area. WIADCA is the organizer and registered property owner of the West Indian American Day Carnival in New York City.
