Bing announced an expansion of its partnership with Facebook yesterday. According to Website Magazine, the search engine will enhance its search results with Facebook ‘Likes’. That means when you search on Bing, you will now see which of your Facebook friends liked that same result listing.
Bing will also enhance its index with a Facebook profile search, and enable users to take action and add the friend directly or send them a message.
For business marketers looking to take advantage of this new opportunity, get your Facebook ‘Like’ pages in order. The features will begin rolling out this week, initially only in the U.S.
