Green ad agency celebrates Green Day

Union Green, an advertising agency serving environmentally conscious businesses, organizations and foundations, has partnered with the New Jersey State Fair and the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show to launch Green Day, an inaugural event at the Sussex County Fairgrounds designed to celebrate the region’s commitment to conservation and educate fairgoers on green issues impacting the community.

As part of the fair, Green Day offers the opportunity for vendors and exhibitors to demonstrate their commitment to the environment and sustainability. The anchor of Green Day will be the Eco Tent, a designated tent area sponsored by Union Green that will bring together a diverse group of organizations and companies that hold eco-conscious issues at their core.

Eco Tent participants, including the New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife (NJDFW), Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative, Union Green and others will offer fun, informative activities, displays and interactives designed to educate attendees on area conservation issues and inspire a deeper commitment to preserving the planet. The Eco Tent will be open today from 10:00am – 8:00pm and will include dynamic and engaging displays, such as:

  • Alternative fuels including solar, wind, bio diesel
  • Establishing backyard wildlife habitats
  • Hybrid and propane powered vehicles
  • Recycling and home composting
  • Solar-powered model car racing
  • Green architecture and building
